What is DharaSetu?
DharaSetu is a bilingual (English + Hindi) software reference tool for India's 2024 criminal-law overhaul. It converts old sections to new ones — IPC to BNS, CrPC to BNSS, and the Evidence Act to BSA — and offers guides and related tools for legal professionals and students.
Is DharaSetu free?
Yes, to start. Guides are free for everyone with no sign-up, the IPC to BNS converter gives 5 free lookups, and you can create a case brief and track up to 3 cases for free. Pro (₹299/month or ₹2,699/year) unlocks unlimited use of every tool.
What does Pro include?
Pro is the single paid plan (₹299/month or ₹2,699/year). It unlocks everything: unlimited section lookups across IPC↔BNS, CrPC↔BNSS and IEA↔BSA; all draft generators with PDF export (bail application, legal notice, vakalatnama); an unlimited case tracker with hearing and limitation reminders; the printable limitation memo; and saved, synced matters.
Are the section mappings reliable?
Every mapping is cross-checked against official government comparative tables and independent legal-reference sources, and carries a source and verification date. We never use AI to generate section numbers or citations. DharaSetu is a reference tool — always verify against the official bare Act before you rely on it.
Does DharaSetu give legal advice?
No. DharaSetu is a software and reference product, not a law firm. It does not represent clients, file cases, or provide legal advice. For advice on your specific matter, consult a qualified advocate.
Do you support Hindi?
Yes. DharaSetu is bilingual — you can search and read results in English or Hindi. Use the language toggle in the header to switch at any time.
How do I sign in? Do I need a password?
Sign-in is passwordless. You can continue with Google in one click, or enter your email and we will send you a 6-digit code. There is no password to remember or reset.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes. A GST invoice is available for every Pro payment. Add your GST details on your profile page, and if you need a copy of an invoice, email support@dharasetu.com.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your account and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. There is no lock-in.
